How to: Make S’mores By a Campfire…
Summer is definitely an ideal time to sit by a campfire and make some yummy s’mores to enjoy with family or friends. Having a nice warm night included with those you love can make any s’more taste that much better! The best part of it all, there is no right or wrong way to creating these gooey treats! As long as you have the supplies listed below, you’re good to go!
Do you remember the first time you made a s’more? My first time was when I went camping with family back when I was younger. We rented an RV and traveled up and down the east coast for a week. We stopped at different campsites along the way, but my favorite part was the campfire s’mores. Though I was a kid, I felt like I was a grown up holding a stick with a melted marshmallow over an open fire. My older relatives made sure the kids understood fire safety along with learning how to cook outdoors. We shared songs and stories, but most importantly, precious memories.
My advice to any parent who is planning on doing a campfire, make sure to get the kids involved! It’s a perfect time to bond and just simply have some fun outdoors! So if you are looking for an easy way to prepare your s’mores on a campfire, the recipe below is a basic and most popular way to create these finger-licking treats. I’ve also attached a video so you’re able to see how they are made!
