When I was younger, I can remember my mother making Easter cupcakes for us kids which consisted of my cousins, nieces, and myself. It was so much fun helping her decorate them with different colored frosting, jellybeans, skittles, and even m&m’s! We used any kind of cake batter ranging from the basics of yellow and chocolate, and then eventually my mom got crafty and started using strawberry!
Crouton Crackerjacks created this easy recipe that will have your cupcakes look just like Easter baskets! The video below will show you exactly how to make them so consider making this a family project and involve the kids to help you! They will love them and I think you will as well so be sure to make plenty!
The ingredients that are needed, were kept pretty simple, however you will need some kind of pastry bag to make the frosting look like grass. Links to Amazon will be provided below if you are looking for a new inexpensive pastry bag to add to your baking collection!
