Dining Out: Parents on a Budget

Dining out can be serious business when you are a parent, especially if you have more than one kid. I don’t have any children, but I have gone out with family and friends and watched them struggle on what to order their little munchkins. Therefore, in my moment of genius (lol), I thought it would be a great idea to share this video with parents for some added assistance.

For parents of young children, the most helpful tip is go to restaurants that offer nice portion sizes and order one big plate of food and let them share it. For example, most kids like spaghetti, so order an adult size, split it between them and you won’t have to spend a lot on kiddie meals that they probably won’t eat.

Also, if you have an only child, order a plate for yourself that you both would enjoy. Share your food with them or maybe just get them a nice appetizer with some veggies on the side, there are so many options for you and your family, so give some new things a try.

Now, enjoy this video by Cole on dining out with your kids and tell us in the comment section if this would work for you.
