Quote of the Day- Achievement

What Is Your Achievement?

An achievement is defined as something accomplished, especially by superior ability, special effort, great courage, or a great or heroic deed. From what we can see in that definition, achievements have nothing to do with luck–it is all about the amount of work you put in to your respective endeavors.

Our quote for today comes from A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, who cites three major factors that determine your success in life and what you can or will achieve.

  • Desires– How bad do you want it? Will you put aside your fears and reservations in order to get the outcome you wish for?
  • Beliefs– What tenets hold true to you? What do you believe and are you willing to compromise those beliefs just to get where you want?
  • Expectations– Are you dealing in realistic expectations? Are you expecting a positive outcome or have you allowed yourself to become too focused on the cons?

Whatever achievement you seek will come. However,  you first need to ask yourself what you desire, what you believe and what do you expect? Answer those questions with a hopeful spirit, try to have an idea of what you want and what would make you happy. If you give this advice a try, then you will have a new-found approach to reaching your goals and success may not be too far away.
